Last week, the entire TRANSMIXR team gathered for our 8th and last General Assembly in Porto, Portugal. This meeting was extra special, as it was likely the last time we will all be together as a full consortium in person. Bittersweet is truly the only word to describe it!
Even though this chapter is officially closing, the finish line is still a few steps away, and we are running toward it at full speed. The team is currently gearing up for UnitedXR Europe, where we have some incredible showcases planned. We can’t wait to pull back the curtain on our latest work, share the results of our pilots, and celebrate our collective achievements with the wider XR community.
Beyond planning for the future, we took some invaluable time during the assembly to recap the massive amount of work accomplished over the last three years. It wasn’t just about the “what,” but the “how”, we sat down to discuss the key lessons learned, ensuring that the legacy of this project informs and strengthens future collaborations, and preparing our final review meeting.
Speaking of achievements, we made sure to leave plenty of room to celebrate the people behind the tech. You know us: we love working hard, but we love having fun together even more.
We closed out the meeting in true TRANSMIXR style with a super special quiz that brought out everyone’s competitive (and comedic) side. The session wrapped up with plenty of laughs, some fun awards, and several truly moving speeches. It was the perfect way to honor the commitment, passion, and heart that this team has poured into the project since day one.
