TRANSMIXR will have a presence at IBC this year with Immersion, TCD and TUS.
IBC2023 will take place 15-18 September in RAI Amsterdam. Running for more than 56 years, IBC is an internationally recognised event which “is sharply focused on driving future innovation, empowering people and energising the media and entertainment industry through collaboration, learning, networking and business development”.
In terms of TRANSMIXR, IBC provides a framework for agile and fast-track innovation with a unique multi-company project-based approach. It also provides us with an opportunity to promote TRANSMIXR at an international event with industry leaders and to secure independent opinion and validation of the business value of TRANSMIXR technologies.
This year, Immersion and Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) are part of an accelerator called Gallery Agnostic Live Media Production. This IBC Accelerator aims to explore advancements of our live media production workflows and upgrade them into the modern, present day via device-agnostic, gallery-agnostic and hybrid ways of working. Specifically, TRANSMIXR will contribute its “XR control room” to the accelerator.
Another TRANSMIXR partner, Trinity College Dublin (TCD) will be part of the Real-time XR Sport Edge accelerator which will build on most recent, cutting-edge innovations in interactive digital athletes, motion capture, AI and high-speed edge content delivery for live XR sports workflows for 3D metaverse worlds.
