The first General Assembly on 14-15 February 2023 in Lisbon marked an important point for TRANSMIXR partners to take stock of the activities run in the first quarter and plan the next round of actions.
A particular focus was given to results of the 1st professionals workshop for the news media & broadcasting use case, contributing to imagine and co-design the newsroom of the future. The workshop identified trends and challenges, like state of play of new technologies in the newsroom, the increasing use of cloud and AI, the familiarity with Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) ass well as the demand for quality of news by the audience.
Another important block of the meeting was the discussion on challenges and options concerning content and technological components of the TRANSMIXR pilot and the outcomes on volumetric pipeline, first version of experience and first idea on authoring.
