Opening up collaboration with public service media on 3D technologies and media applications
An article introducing the objectives and workplan of TRANSMIXR has been published in the quarterly magazine Tech-i issued by EBU Technology and Innovation department.
This publication is a regularly read by the wide community of EBU members – most of which currently working with immersive technologies – as well as EBU partners organization and media technology providers.
In late 2022 the EBU Technical Committee has initiated a working group on Web3, Metaverse and NFTs for media to help EBU Members better understand, prepare for, and if relevant, shape, these technologies by working together on relevant use cases for public service media.
